Autumn in Auckland
There is no such a season as fall in Auckland. Native plants don't drop their leaves at all, as much as I am concerned. The Europeans brought a lot of new species, called here "exotic", which used to drop their foliage during winter time, but in the sub-tropical climate of Auckland these plants seems to be confused. While some are already naked, others just started turning yellow.
The scene above is the lake in Western Springs park, a lovely place to walk or ride a bike, feed birds and watch eels and koi carps in the water.
